Of course, clean and easy check first. You rub the rock very well in warm water and soil washing. When dry, drops, vinegar and see if it hisses, all across the rocks, if ever, use those rocks. Please Fizz, in a container with water and cover overnight. When the morning you will find a greasy film on the water, do not use a stone or a Roick Flacke or shredded at all in the cup, use it rocks. Most are fine, but you take the time to access each of the first health and safety of your fish.

It depends on the composition of rocks, contain rocks that calcium has a significant effect on the pH of the tank. Some crystalline rocks are dissolved in an aquarium. If you try, the first rock garden soaking in a solution of bleach, if it hisses or not to use bubbles in the tank work. If you pass this test immersed in the liquor for a few weeks, then rinse thoroughly and immerse in a solution of tri-sodium phosphate for a few days. Then rinse and repeat til "can not detect the smell of chlorine.

I did it before and my tank was very dirty and cloudy. I even washed my first, so I would not recommend it.
